Going through a tough economic phase could be a result of several circumstances whether it is a personal or general problem, there are ways to handle these economic situations, lower anxiety, and once again gain financial control like things used to be. It is not a new thing to be worried about money, many people all over the world have to deal with financial stress and uncertainty.
Financial problems are one of the most common stresses of life, so whether your worry is due to the loss of a job, unexpected expenses, or some general financial issue, there is a way to go about it.

Just like we have different cases of stress and life worry, financial problems can take a strong toll on a person's mental, and physical health, possibly one's overall life quality. When you feel down/worried about money, it begins to affect your sleep, create a significant drop in your energy level as well as affect your self-esteem, this can leave you feeling ashamed, angry, and filled with tensions, which could create passive aggression, especially towards the people that are close to you.

It is clear and easy to say that, there are more significant things in life than money, but when you begin to struggle financially, it is not a good thing, it creates financial stress and fear, damaging your self-esteem, making you feel flawed and filling your life with some sense of despair. With financial stress in place, your body, mind, and health become the huge price you get to pay.

Financial stress could lead to;

  • Insomnia: One of the things that can keep you tossing and turning around at night is an unpaid bill, overdue debt, loss of income, or the uncertainty of where the next meal will come from.

  • Depression: Living under the existence of money problems can make anyone feel down, and hopeless, and struggle to make any concrete decisions. Studies have shown that people who are in debt will possibly suffer a high toll of depression.

  • Weight gain/loss: Either it is eating too much or consuming too little, significantly, money problems could make you gain weight or lose weight.

  • Physical ailments: High blood pressure, gastrointestinal problems, high blood pressure, and heart diseases.

  • Relationship problems: One thing most couples worry about greatly is money, if not controlled properly, recurring money issues could create anger and make you irritable, making you lose interest in sex. A love relationship is not bound by some good sexual pleasure may not stand the test of time (kindly correct me if I am wrong).

  • WIthdrawing socially: Financial problems can make you withdraw from friends, and streamline your social life, making you withdraw into your shell, this will only make your condition worse and get you into bigger problems.

I will be talking about how to handle these stress as time goes on. Appreciate your time.
