I Am Alive Challenge : October 29 2024 - Happy Birthday to my Mum

Woke up to the news that my mum had been rushed to the hospital. It's her birthday 🥲. I woke up at 4am to get ready for work. After prayers, I took my phone and went online. Saw messages from my junior sister that my mum was at the hospital. My sis said she complained of not being able to breath well.

Fortunately, at the end of the day, she was fine. Nothing definite was found wrong, just that her BP had jumped to 196/118 when they got to the hospital. They did scans, x-rays, blood tests and whatnots but there was nothing wrong. She had suffered typhoid fever in January and they linked her sickness to that.

She came to 135/90 before she was discharged. I thank God for her life and for saving her. I wish her a happy birthday and a glorious new year. Many more happy, healthy long years on the land of the living. God is great.
