Hello, wonderful women of Hive!
I'm excited to participate in the second contest today, which is all about how to celebrate Children's Day.

First of all, I believe children are gifts from God and deserve to be treated with love and care. It's important to recognize their special days, like Children's Day or their birthdays. If you don't, nature has a way of making up for it through them.

On these special days, children just want to have fun and enjoy themselves because it means so much to them. It's hard to put into words, but it's truly important to make sure your kids get to celebrate their special days.

When finances are tight, I set aside a small amount specifically for these celebrations. For birthdays, I plan to make a cake or bake some pies and serve them with a drink. My son especially loves this.

On the last Children's Day in May, I couldn't be at home because my boss assigned me a special task, even though it was unofficial. I earned some money that day, but I had to instruct my children to go to church instead. Our church usually organizes a special event for kids on Children's Day. I allowed them to celebrate there and asked them to share stories with me about how the event went.

As a mom, I decided to make the day special by buying their favorite snacks and drinks. This is how I celebrate Children's Day with my kids. Since it's a public holiday, I always budget some money to spend on their day; otherwise, they'll keep reminding me about it.

It's important to acknowledge their day because it brings a sense of joy and relief for the kids. It's a day full of memorable experiences, including watching their favorite movies. My daughter, for example, loves movies. On that day, I usually get a foreign film that showcases how creative children can be and let them watch it.

I am very cautious about what my kids watch, especially on Children's Day. Recently, my son started getting interested in boxing and wrestling movies, like WWE, probably because his dad, who often works offshore, also enjoys wrestling. I noticed this interest was affecting his behavior when he had a small argument with his sister and acted like a wrestler to defend himself.
I decided to stop him from watching those movies. I broke all the DVDs showing wrestling and deactivated the WWE channel on our TV.

On Children's Day, it's important to celebrate with your kids. If possible, take them out to eat and watch movies. Let them explore the outside world and experience something new. This will create lasting memories for them.

Thank you for reading my entry. Have a lovely day!

They are definitely a beautiful gift and you have to let them enjoy as much as they can, that stage is wonderful!
