I grew up in the countryside, and we always had cats. One or more, but there was always a tabby or black one around. They are fed and have a place to sleep but are free to ram around as they please, and most of them didn't stay with us very long (with very few exceptions). Some would just show up at our door hungry and stay; some would be found somewhere on the street and brought home by me or my brother, and others would be born from a cat-mommy that was already living with us.
But this must be the very first time that we have calico cats! I absolutely love this type of fur, but for some reason it did not happen before.
The two girls were born this year from a tabby mommy, and both are just so damn cute!
This is the first one with the cute ginger nose.
She might look a little mean, but she is not. Out of the two calico sisters (the second one a little lower), she is the braver and more cautious one. She will come closer checking what I am doing, but always ready to jump away.
This is the sister, with the white nose. The one that is more shy and would keep in a safe hiding spot most of the time.
Can you see the black kitty in the photo below? He is older, with a very serious face and lovely yellow eyes. It always stays around the house but will not let anyone get close to him. Like a guardian.
Always watching...
And another sibling, though I have no idea if it's a boy or a girl. A cute tuxedo one :)
All with the serious faces (must be the camera effect), but when the playtime comes, they go completely bozonkers!
Laters kities :)
