I just don't like the Outlaws pricing really. base game's somewhat expensive (especially where i live where it's $90 USD to get the base game on xbox because of some blockhead forgetting to add regional pricing here, or adding it and for some reason having it be more expensive), and then for the one with all the content, it costs almost double the price. I'll give Outlaws a go, it's just unfortunate we have a set protagonist, considering the gameplay I would like to have gotten a game where you can customise your character. Overall I wish there was more customization. Maybe not for the main story, this is Kay's story and we should play as her, but it'd be nice for just post-game open world stuff to be able to play as other iconic characters, or use whatever weapon you want, etc.
I'm hoping we at least aren't restricted to just the pistol (and low ammo weapon pickups) in the main story. What I mean is in terms of recent Star Wars games we've just been stuck with a set protagonist which I'm not against entirely since Cal was great and I'm sure Kay will be interesting too.
I would just like a modern star wars game that lets you pick who you want to be while exploring the galaxy. Just a shame to be so restricted an open world game. It's a good idea for a main story to have a set protagonist, but i can't say i wouldn't like to be able to go into the cantina as Han and shoot some random rodian even if it's behind a cheat code or something. It's why i liked LEGO Skywalker Saga so much. I can attack Theed as a Rancor, cut up everyone in the mos eisley cantina as Darth Vader (burned), or drop battle droids into the lake as Yarael Poof the open world lets you play as almost any star wars movie character, and some from the shows, too. I'm actually fine with games not having lightsabers infact if anything unless it's on the level of Jedi Academy/Force Unleashed/Fallen Order lightsaber combat is more limiting than anything, infact Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast handled it perfectly, you could use a lightsaber but you also had so many other weapon choices and we don't always need to be playing as a Jedi/force-user. We still have that RTS game that is supposedly being worked on, ideally I would like this game to have more factions than just Galactic Empire and Rebels but since we know so little about it I don't have much expectations there.
