Hello everyone,
Today's topic is dealing with the use of AI and I would like to share with you my idea about AI and how I make use of it in my daily routine. Well, it's not been long since I came to know about AI and how to effectively use it. Two years ago I was to write an external exam in which one of the subjects was mathematics. For me it was a big challenge because I knew I had some lapes when it comes to mathematics and secondly I didn't have the time to start attending a personal tutorial to brush up my knowledge on math. As a student the only spare time was during the night hours. Then while I was just thinking of how to go about it, I did some research on how to effectively learn some basic mathematics and I discovered the incredible potential of artificial intelligence (AI). It's amazing to see that I can just type in questions from past questions and it will give me step-by-step explanations for every problem. That was my first time seeing such a device because even the question paper I was using to prepare for the exams didn't have the step by step answers but just the answers.
So to answer the question, how can AI be used without being abused?
Educational Support: After my encounter with using AI to learn mathematics, I can proudly say that AI can be used as a personal tutor, at the comfort of your house you can learn and get understanding.
Research Assistance: Just like we use Google to do our research, AI can also do that more reliably, and quicker. It can give a whole lot of information within a few seconds. This ability of AI will help researchers identify patterns, generate hypotheses, and expedite the discovery process.
Accessibility: AI can assist some individuals with some level of disability to do things with ease, for instance those with hands can use speech-to-text and text-to-speech. I personally use this application in the AI without stressing myself to type, it's eased me off the stress and makes information accessible.
Content?
The question of monetizing AI-generated content is a little bit complex. Yeah because there are other platforms who don't see AI generated content as a form of plagiarism, but when it comes to hive it has been clearly stated and people have to abide to the rules and regulations of any platform they wants to be a part of. In other hand to create some content one have to make good research about some things, in the aspect AI can give some areas of insight so therefore, If content created content should be monetize in platforms that has zero tolerance for plagiarism, it should be clearly stated the role of AI played in creating such content and proper references should be made in order to give credit to where it is due to avoid plagiarism. Then we should know that for AI to work humans have to feed in information they want, making it look like a collaboration that is needed to get a good result. Additionally, the content should add genuine value and not simply be a product of automation for profit's sake.
Conclusion
My recent experience with usit AI as a learning tool to brush up my knowledge on mathematics has opened my eyes to its potential. Despite the fact that people have been abusing the use of AI, one can still take advantage of the good potential, use it to learn, make research, and accessibility. The monetization of AI-generated content should be handled with transparency and ethical considerations.
Thanks.
