Donald Trump should abolish the personal income tax. I'm a firm believe in that humans should not pay an income tax (but of course my opinion can sway depending on tax policy). As it stands, our tax system needs a total overhaul but it would be great to remove the income tax.
In my opinion, abolishing the income tax would leave more wealth in the hands of productive citizens. American citizens would have more money to spend on things that matter to them the most and Americans should have this liberty to decide what they do with their money. Separating income taxes while eliminating them and keeping payroll taxes would drastically simplify the tax code for working individuals that receive W-2's and 1099's. This would save Americans millions who file using brick and mortar tax offices like H&R Block and related services.
It's insane to me that people defend the personal income tax while simultaneously crying about how corporations pay fewer taxes. It's a simple fix, all the government needs to do is handle it's bloated spending habits.
