the art of drying champignon

in FungiFriday7 months ago

this is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

there aren't many wild mushrooms here in May so when there was a sale in the local supermarket we bought a lot. we sliced the ones we didn't use immediately and dried them in the warm spring sun. we just covered them with a screen and put them out in the garden by the harbor where there is the most sun. at night we brought them inside to avoid any dew. the days are very long here this far north so the mushrooms needed only three days to dry.

the process is so simple i cannot justify calling it an art but here are some pictures.

give it up for dried shrooms

Hello dear friend @eolianpariah2 how are you?
It's good that there is an abundance of mushrooms, to the point that you have to dissect them in the sun
Beautiful works. Have a beautiful day

thanks so much for your support. it means a lot.

Give it up indeed for these dried luscious-looking shrooms. They look ready enough fo the pot and I think you did a nice job with the drying and it turned out well. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day.

Looks like there is abundance of mushrooms over there. I’m hoping to eat it someday so I’d at least know what it tastes like…

Hello @eolianpariah2
What a beautiful work of art you were able to make from your mushroom photographs. Congratulations, you are very creative
