it has been a long time since i entered a photo quest contest but thanks to @hindavi for insisting i join in. here are a couple of shots directly into the setting sun with marked lens flare. i took these shots on arawali beach in maharashtra india with my lumix fz300
while there are no clear patterns typical of some lens flares i like how this whole image, especially diffuse sun and sky appears washed out and hazy yet there is still sharp contrast between the foaming wave and the background sky
