We got up this morning to take a dip in the hot tub. It was nice. It’s been a while since we could because of schedules and illness. However this time, I needed to see if it would help my back. It did some, but not all the way. I had a Zoom meeting at 11 AM, and afterwards, worked on the Ladies of Hive contest I’m judging this week. When I was finished, we decided to head to Boulevard Park as it was supposed to be another hot and muggy day. It’s always cooler there and today was no exception. You never know just what strange creature you might see, like this one!
Strange, indeed! It was hazy sunshine and lots of folks were there. We walked along the boardwalk.
The tide was higher than usual as we’ve been good at hitting low tide except the last time and then today. Diffused sunlight kept it from being hot and a breeze took care of the rest.
I saw a sea plane off in the distance.
I took a video but really like the noise of the waves. So soothing. Take a listen.
We ended our time there at the Woods Coffeehouse and enjoyed a cold mocha frappe.
