Yesterday, we spent the afternoon and evening with our oldest son Michael and his wife Christine. It was a lovely early Christmas! Michael is into cooking meat, and was getting ready to pop a prime rib into his cooker/smoker. It does a really good job. This was the finished product.
It was tender and very flavorful! Yum! 😋

After dinner, there was the gift exchange.
After much talk and laughter, we realized it was getting seriously late and headed home for a quick - get ready to post, time. That’s why ours posts were much later than usual.
It was a lovely time! 😊
This morning saw us headed to church. The worship and sermon were awesome as usual. Afterwards, we were treated to the children singing ‘Happy Birthday, Jesus’. A little boy and a little girl both sang a solo. It was quite touching.
Once home, I FINALLY finished all of my Christmas wrapping so I - am - done! Yippee!😎
In the late afternoon, we went to Starbucks as we’ve recently received a couple of gift cards to there. Besides, since I didn’t get much sleep last night and I was dragging as was @silvertop, it gave us an excuse for a leisurely excursion and free coffee! ☕️
That’s gonna be it for me. Tomorrow finds us headed south to North Bend, WA, for Christmas with Bill, Agi, Phoenix and Banjo the kitty. Dreading the drive but looking forward to seeing them!
