That is actually true. In my younger days, I would base my employment on money. I would go where the money is. This was a miserable existence. Even in the online world, I jump on opportunities not because they aligned with my passions but because I thought they would be lucrative.
Now that I am older and feel there are more days behind me than in front of me. Time is so much more valuable than money. We can use time to earn money, but no amount of money can buy us more time. :-)
