Greetings friends of the community, after several days of absence, I return to my adventures in Assassin's Creed back flag. Previously, I had been left in the middle of a series of missions, which had the objective of gathering gunpowder and tar to load them on Rackham's ship and use it as an explosive ram, which would open a breach in the naval blockade.
I had already obtained the gunpowder, but Vane was still in the process of obtaining the tar, so I started to help him when suddenly I heard some soldiers transmit the new orders from Commodore Chamberlaine.
The new orders were to prepare the gunners to immediately sink all ships anchored in the port of Nassau. At this news, Vane suggested to me that it was time to eliminate Commodore Chamberlaine, as he had become a hindrance to our plans. I agreed, but such a turn of plans was not well received by the sailor accompanying Vane and claiming that this was an officer of the crown and that we could not assassinate him. Faced with the possibility that he might give us away, Vane put him to sleep, but not permanently.
After following some officers for a while, I discovered that the Commodore was already aboard his galleon and with no time to lose I headed that way. The ship was not near the shore and to reach it I had to use some wreckage to get close enough to get close enough without being detected.
Once the ship was boarded, I used some trickery to eliminate the crew and when I was close enough to the commodore, I set off some smoke bombs to eliminate him and his escorts. I know it may sound a bit cowardly, but it is quite effective.
With the death of Commodore Chamberlaine his plans to sink our ships were over, so it was time to return to shore where Vane and Rackham would be waiting for me with the powder and tar.
Arriving at the agreed place, the first thing I do is to inform Vane of the Commodore's death, but I am interrupted by the sight of Rackham smoking sitting on top of the powder kegs. Vane notices this as well and with a single blow knocks him off the barrels, to which Rackham sobbingly claims that he has taken enough from him and to leave him alone.
Once everything was ready, we weighed anchor and set sail. I was the escort, and the others would crew the bomb boat. Escorting was not easy, as the course of the small bomb boat was erratic at times and many times I had to act as a shield. There was also the fact that we were constantly being hit by mortars from the war galleons that made up the blockade. Fortunately, on the first attempt he was able to complete the mission and I witnessed a small boat blow up a huge ship.
Taking advantage of the confusion of the explosion, we slipped through a huge smoke screen. In this way we were able to escape the naval blockade and set course for my secret base in "Gran Iguana".
