Hello people!
Once again, and another new tour of the spectacular city of Moscow, which is the capital of Russia. A city of immense dimensions that has many iconic and famous places, like some that I already shared but also has many others that deserve to be mentioned and visited.
One thing that caught my attention is the number of parks there are in the city, in all areas, in the north, east, west or south, and many museums and large areas. Some of them are truly impressive, and that is why in this post I tell you more about two other points of interest, and in the future some more parks and walks around the city to simply observe the beauty of the entire urban environment.
This time we will visit two recommended places, a giant recreational area, park and exhibition center called VDNKh, and the State Museum of History whose facade we saw in the previous post in Red Square. And here we go.
VDNKh (now the All-Russian Exhibition Center)
Now we will go to an exhibition and entertainment center that is possibly one of the largest in the country or in the world, built in Soviet times and which is now enjoyed by all its citizens.
It is an exhibition center, where there are many elements to visit, but there are different giant, very imposing buildings with many things, there are shops, places to eat, nearby an astronaut museum, a fountain, some nice gardens and many monuments of imposing sizes. Everything is big, it is called by its Russian acronym VDNKh, and in good weather it is a fabulous place.
In addition to the monumental buildings with many symbols, inside one of the main ones there are small exhibitors and shops, selling artisanal items and others. But the atmosphere was somewhat strange and dark, I liked the entire outside area better, because the fountain was beautiful and also all the decorative architectural elements (despite all the political or ideological symbols of those bygone times).
And as I have also pointed out, the great size of everything stands out, the buildings and especially the sculptures and statues, everything is gigantic and spectacular.
Upon entering, the beautiful architecture and decorative elements caught our attention, but then we had to go see all those interesting articles that told us a lot about the history of that great country.
Old maps, paintings, objects that were surely in important places, large books and ostentatious decorations, of course, crowns of tsars and palatial gold tableware, ornate chests that came from Korea, and souvenirs from that other time of kings, with paintings of former tsars and military clothing from the past. A trip to other times in another country, to get to know Russia a little more.
The State Historical Museum
Then we visited the State Museum of History, which is in Red Square as I told you, and inside it contains very interesting pieces that show us a little more about the country and its culture, so let's get to it.

I hope you liked these two places, we will see more parks with a lot of greenery and also many streets, and some more tours showing Moscow life. Soon more about this amazing city!
