Moscow: around and inside the Kremlin area (I)

in Worldmappin7 months ago (edited)

Hello people!

An incredible and beautiful city, very characteristic and special, is Moscow, the capital of Russia. And it has great places and some very well-known ones that we are going to visit, calmly, because trips and travel posts are to be enjoyed.

Of course if there is one place that is frequently mentioned, anywhere, in the news and in movies, it is the Kremlin. It is an entire walled architectural complex that has different elements in addition to that striking red wall, inside there are different buildings, some governmental and also different churches, the ones that I like so much with golden onion domes and also other impressive elements that we are going to discover and see here.

Around the wall you can already see some of the important and beautiful buildings inside, and if you go in spring, outside you will enjoy a lot of color, adorable tulip gardens. And typical images of the place... soldiers, or the tomb of the unknown soldier as a tribute to so many who fought for this country in their day.

The time has come to enter through one of the doors of one of the towers, to one of the most important tourist areas without a doubt in the city.
We find large esplanades and also large buildings, some government buildings, where many decisions are surely made, also the presidential palace, but other elements really draw our attention more.
To begin with, there are a cathedral and several churches with white facades and with those domes that I mentioned, onion style and gold, making a nice contrast and acquiring a beautiful shine on sunny days like this.

But there is more... there are two items that surprise us, and they are very big.
On the one hand, a large cannon, the Tsar Cannon, that I believe due to its dimensions was not very practical or used and a giant bell, the Tsar Bell also of immense dimensions with a piece broken on one side, curiously this is the biggest one in the world but it had never been used as a bell. From a distance, if we look at the size of the people and the buildings, we realize that it is gigantic. Despite they were not be used in the past just the creation is great, and I think that both objects are incredible!

We take many steps, we walk the perimeter seeing such beautiful buildings and elements, but also in a relaxed way we enjoy the views from the wall, taking advantage of the peaceful and sunny day, and of course we find more gardens and more tulips, these red to give color to an interesting visit that will continue through the adjoining area... do you know which one it is? It is the same color as the flowers.

Soon more about this amazing city!
