Automated insulin device
The FDA has approved Omnipod 5, developed by Insulet, an automated Insulin device for type 2 DM patients. It was already in use, unofficially. Now it is official.
Taking insulin multiple times a day is somewhat problematic and quite difficult for some Diabetics. An automated device will help the patients immensely. A device can deliver insulin 3 days in a row. Initial setup and patient education would be a challenge!
