This is a kind of continuation of my previous post in which I showed everyday life on Florida Street and part of Corrientes Avenue. This time I bring you a second part but with color images and including other areas and buildings in the surroundings.

Esta es una especie de continuación de mi anterior post en el que mostraba la vida cotidiana en la calle Florida y parte de la Avenida Corrientes. Esta vez les traigo una segunda parte pero con imágenes a color e incluyendo otras zonas y edificios de los alrededores.

How old is this sign? This typeface is characteristic of the past, several decades ago shops, hotels and buildings used it, I have seen photos of old Buenos Aires and I am sure of it, maybe 50s or 60s.

¿Cuántos años tiene este cartel? Esta tipografía es característica del pasado, hace varias décadas comercios, hoteles y edificios la usaban, he visto fotos del viejo Buenos Aires y estoy seguro de ello, tal vez años 50 o 60.

These are some passersby walking down Florida Street and a sign advertising a restaurant, I think it is impossible to avoid reading what it says.

Estos son unos transeúntes caminando por la calle Florida y un cartel que anuncia un restaurante, creo que es imposible evitar leer lo que dice.

Do you want to buy glasses, accessories, crafts? Here you can get almost anything. As I mentioned in my previous post, it is an area full of shops and also informal sellers. On this occasion I wanted to put the focus point on these glasses.

¿Quieres comprar lentes, accesorios, artesanía? Aquí puedes conseguir casi de todo. Como ya comenté en mi anterior post, es una zona llena de tiendas y también de vendedores informales. En esta ocasión he querido poner el punto de enfoque en estos lentes.

It's always a good idea to walk your pet, this is very common. It is quite common to see dogs on the streets, sometimes even on the subway. It's a city or country where citizens have a lot of connection with animals, adoption and animal rights. Although there are still tiny protests in relation to this.

Siempre es una buena idea pasear a tu mascota, esto es muy común. Es bastante habitual ver perros por la calle, a veces incluso en el metro. Es una ciudad o país donde los ciudadanos tienen mucha conexión con los animales, la adopción y los derechos de los animales. Aunque todavía hay pequeñas protestas en relación con esto.

This is a photo similar to another that I shared yesterday, where I mentioned the excess of cables to be able to illuminate the night area using these lamps. I think the lighting is a great idea and in fact it looks very good at night but I still think that during the day they spoil the aesthetics of the area.

Esta es una foto parecida a otra que compartí ayer, donde mencionaba el exceso de cables para poder iluminar la zona de noche utilizando estas lámparas. Creo que la iluminación es una gran idea y de hecho queda muy bien de noche pero sigo pensando que de día estropean la estética de la zona.

I don't know what you think but I think that there are certain aspects that adorn a composition when it comes to street photography, I'm talking about taxis. Maybe it must be because they have these colors here and in certain shots they can combine with the main objective to be portrayed.

No se que pensarán ustedes pero yo creo que hay ciertos aspectos que adornan una composición cuando se trata de fotografía callejera, estoy hablando de los taxis. Tal vez debe ser porque aquí tienen esos colores y en ciertas tomas pueden combinar con el objetivo principal a retratar.

As some may know, Tango is a characteristic musical genre of Argentina and in the downtown area you can see many places that offer shows, there are even outdoor presentations for free. In particular, I find the music to be elegant and quite difficult to dance to. Personally, I prefer to enjoy watching who is dancing and listen the music 😅

Como algunos sabrán, el Tango es un género musical característico de Argentina y en el centro de la ciudad se pueden ver muchos lugares que ofrecen espectáculos, incluso hay presentaciones al aire libre gratuitas. Particularmente, la música me parece elegante y bastante difícil de bailar. Personalmente prefiero disfrutar viendo quien baila y escuchar la música 😅

Buenos Aires City Bus.

In the federal capital there is a transportation service especially for tourists, let's say ideal for them but anyone can access this service. It's a bus that has seats on the roof and makes tours through the most emblematic areas of the city with many stops.

I don't know exactly the value of this but I always wanted to use it when I arrived in the country, at this moment it is not so necessary anymore, I know almost all the places 🤣

En la capital federal existe un servicio de transporte especial para turistas, digamos ideal para ellos pero cualquiera puede acceder a este servicio. Es un bus que tiene asientos en el techo y hace recorridos por las zonas más emblemáticas de la ciudad con muchas paradas.

No sé exactamente el valor de esto pero siempre quise usarlo cuando llegué al país, en este momento ya no es tan necesario, conozco casi todos los lugares 🤣
