It's TACO TUESDAYS time now...
Welcome everyone too my Taco Tuesdays post, this is my routine post in Free Compliments Community, as its name TACO, but we have no TACO here... On Tuesday we focus talking about FOODS!!! Becoming a one day Foodie!!!
Currently we are in Ramadhan month, most people here are doing Fasting. So I will share what I have from past. It's been a few month since I have got myself as corporate slave, because I got myself into the production or operational team, most of the time I am outside my office... From doing works in construction site to meeting the clients and vendors on their offices.
Sometime you can only meet people during coffee breaks time, so like it or not we must adjust our time and places to their needs. In this post I am sharing you guys my Brunch with my clients, we met them on 10:00 AM to 13:00 on Starbucks. Some people are really crazy about starbucks, for example my ex, she always drink Starbucks almost everyday.
It's not like I do not like them, its just overrated from my perspective.
TASTY TUESDAY STARBUCKS
Its a long meeting so I had prepared to stuff up my stomach to prevent my gastritis came again the next day. So I asked for some brunch suggestion to the cashier and she recommended me a TASTY TUESDAY package... Well it sounds very similar to our Taco Tuesdays, so yeah... That day I picked that package.
Tasty Tuesday Package was a package of a bread and a tall size drink. However only $2 above breads that were eligible for the package, cheaper ones weren't available to be selected.
Let's start with the drink... If this is not a business meeting or a personal occasion, I would go with cold double shot espresso.
Cold Vanilla Latte is my all time favorite drink on Starbuck, with an extra shot of course. Without that extra shot, it feels too weak for me. Sometime I poured some Choco Powder on it just to add some flavor and to make it look better... A plain white drink sometime gives you a feeling of drinking milk.
Ok this was the bread, an Eclairs. The name was BANANA MALTINE ECLAIRS. I used to order Sumateran Eclairs, but its discontinued... maybe because its too cheap. Now they had this one with twice of the Sumateran Eclairs price.
The back side of this eclairs... How to say this... ok lets be honest, it looks like a hard dried poo. I guess that's why they add a layer of chocolate sheet above it to cover it up.
I cut it to half and this is how the side looked like. It's not a pure banana, they smashed it to some paste and they did not mix with the chocolate inside. So the banana paste and and chocolate cream were inside but not mix.
Honestly the taste was interesting. I could agree if they thought that the price should be higher than the old eclair. However in general, the price it self was already too high.
Overall its $4,5 USD. As you can read on the bill, TASTY TUESDAY. In some part of Jakarta - Indonesia, this price can be considered as decent or cheap, however in some part... It's ridiculously pricy.
Whether its cheap or pricy, just be grateful on what we have for the drink and food.
