There is a storm passing us by here in the UK. Storm Eowyn is a ferocious cyclone. But luckily for us here in the South of England it is minimal. The worst of the winds are to the north west, Ireland, and Scotland got the brunt of it.
By the time we ventured out, the worst of the rain had passed. I could see by the standing water around that we must have had a lot of rain overnight. One thing that is apparent is the warmer temperature, which is about five degrees higher.
We had lunch in the shopping centre County Mall. Afterwards, walking around the town browsing in the many charity shops 😆, of which we have many. Too many!
I must admit, shopping is not my thing really but it's good to get out for a while. Sometimes you dont feel like going out, but once out in the fresh air, you realise that it was a good decision after all.
