Two weeks ago, I shared how to get started by buying Kart and Driver in Arcade Colony - Moon Karts with little to no investment. I was able to purchase a Kart and Driver rom the market with the Colony tokens that I get as a result o staking the associated tokens in Splinterlands and GLS games.

Moon Karts Leaderboards
You may ask why am I starting to play another game? There are two reasons that I started playing this game.
The most important reason is to support the Hive Blockchain ecosystem. All the tokens are sold on Hive Engine
The second reason is the amount you can earn from the Leaderboard which produces enough to ramp up earnings. Once my earnings are high enough, I can start spreading it to other areas of the Hive ecosystem.
Most Web3 games have leaderboards. By placing on the Leaderboard, you can get additional payouts of the games tokens.
For instance, this is the second season I have played Arcade Colony - Moon Karts. As you can see, I am in 33rd place on this season's leaderboard.
If the season ended right now, I would receive a total of 1,237 Colony tokens. Colony token is valued at $0.0006 on Hive engine. This would be $0.7422 USD.
This season's leaderboard ends in about two days. So if I get a few more points, I should easily increase my earnings from the leaderboard.
You might think that is not much. My point is that you must start somewhere. As I get better at driving and move up the leaderboard, I could get a whole lot more. This season the top place on the leaderboard will receive 27,000 Colony tokens. That is $16.20 USD using the same calculation I used above.
Oh by the way did I mention there are two leaderboards from which you can get payouts.
Staking Colony Token
However to earn you will need to stake the Colony Token. My staking factor is 4.9 for staking Colony tokens. The more you stake the higher your factor. each day, I am staking the Colony that I get in the daily airdrop that I mentioned in my prior post (link above).
Currently I have 2,550 Colony Staked and will add to it on a daily basis until I get my staking factor over 10.0
Fuel For Racing
To Race you must have fuel. The common Kart and Driver takes 1.9 fuel for each race. I was able to get two of the cheapest cards on the market to stake to earn fuel for racing.
The cards need 2 Script staked each to be able to earn fuel in the Auto Vault. Each player is provided a free Auto Vault in which two cards can be staked to earn fuel. More vaults can be purchased if needed.
I am staring off slowly and trying to grow everything organically from game earnings or the Colony airdrop so it will take me a little while to get a higher level of fuel so that I can race more often. But I will get there given time.
