Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!
We have arrived at the weekend once again, and that means time for the first Caturday in November. As usual, we have a good collection of cute cat photos for everyone, starring Shangri and Nala!
Nala, watching a bird!
It has been rather cold and wintry in our part of the world, so the Hoomans have been focusing on their indoor projects, meaning that there are more opportunities for us cats to get in the middle of what they doing!
Mostly what is happening at the moment is that they are preparing for one of their "art shows" this coming weekend. Of course, that means no special treatment this next Caturday, but on the plus side, they will be in a good mood if their trip is a success and they make money!
Enjoying a good nap!
Although we all miss Daisy the dog — who passed away earlier this year — the Hoomans feel a little better about leaving for these all-day events now that there isn't a dog at home, needing to be taken outside. That's part of the joy of keeping cats! We do our business in a box...
Kitty togetherness!
Meanwhile, Shangri and Nala really have become totally relaxed now, and much of their "running from the Hoomans" nowadays is just a fun game, rather than actually being fearful of anything.
Nala continues to "stalk" me and tries to get into whatever bed I happen to be napping in... not that I really mind! I am, after all, a fabulous and in-demand cat!
Shangri, chilling out in what is normally Shadow's spot
So, we have made it to the month of November!
I'm hopeful the Hoomans will be in a better mood once this whole "election" thing they keep bringing up is over. I'm not a political cat, so I really don't care... as long as the government doesn't do something stupid like outlaw cat beds or create a tax on kittens!
More kitty togetherness
With just two months left in the year, I'm quietly contemplating my Hive goals for this year and realizing it is going to be considerable challenge to get to 5,000 HP by the end of the year... at least at the current pace.
At the same time, I don't think it would be a right thing to just start publishing large numbers of post, just in pursuit of reaching a number.
A rare bit of sunshine!
And pictures of cats aren't exactly the sort of content that gets big rewards on Hive!
But I'm not going to give up hope... a lot can happen in 60 days! If there's one thing I have learned around here it is that perseverance matters!
Thanks for stopping by out cat blog for a visit, and we hope to see you again! In the meantime, have a great Sunday!

Love Cats? Get Involved in Hive's Cat Communities!
If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?
These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Many of the allow you to share your cat posts, even if you started at a different community!
HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!
Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!
Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!
Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!
Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
