RE: Feedback from the December Hive Power Up Day

in Hive Power2 years ago

@traciyork @hivebuzz A question, because the delegation of Hive power that I did is not counted as power up to @marthica, how is that seen or what is the procedure?

Sort:

@cryptomaso, a delegation is different from a power up. I see you delegated 15 Hive Power to marthica, which is a wonderful way to help an account grow. However, a delegation can be cancelled at any time.

Powering up to another account is essentially giving someone else Hive Power, and it can't be taken back. And since this is a Power Up Day initiative by @hivebuzz, it's only powering up that counts.

🤔😔And how to do that, it is not clear to me in the explanation of the publications about the powerup, I understood that a delegation counted, it is even in my post explained.

I took a look at your post, and I'm not sure why you're confused. The only time delegation was mentioned is when you said you delegated - it clearly says Power Up in the rules you quoted...

Also @cryptomaso, if you look in your wallet (although I took the screencaps from mine), you will where to Power Up and where to Delegate -

Well I have been wrong all the time, I had not understood the process, thank you for everything and sorry for the inconvenience, at least I did the powerup on my own, hoping to get the delegations for the second month. Thank you for all your support and understanding. 🙏🤝

You are very welcome, @cryptomaso and please feel free to shout out if you have any other questions. 😊

As you wrote, a delegation is not a power-up. Simple as that.

Ok thanks, traciyork explained it to me.
