Chinese (Lunar) is here once again, and I am just so grateful that I still have the privilage to be part of the design till delivery for the cards and hampers that will bless a lot of hardworking individuals.
Last year the special hampers were circle, made out of bamboo, but this year we will be having square rattan bags! It has always been a challenge to come up with a creative surprise to reward a year's of hard work, but when preparation started 6 months prior, getting the best deal with the best quality is definitely a profit in the budget.
Having exactly a month left today from the New Year, speeding up prints are needed and even for my thrift store launch, I have got to speed things up faster than ever!
This includes the #junk2glamour containers cleaning has started and I have set aside cleaning 1 container a day, and it is honestly not easy when it requires patience.
Another challenge is that the weather in Kuala Lumpur hasn't been the most ideal; therefore to be able to get a double coating with proper drying is also a challenge. Nevertheless, I kind of like the colour I selected, and I still want to test one more "lacquer" coating on one of the containers to see if there are any difference before deciding what to decorate at the top.
Even if there are no difference, I might end up spraying the lacquer coating on top of the completed decoration on the container cover so that they are waterproof later.
However right now, I need to gear up in speed to get at least 20 physical cards ready so that recipients will get them soon for the next meeting.

I actually tried out the background in AI generation pattern, then re-edit it to make it as seamless as possible so that it will look unique and cute.
Of course, the one I am showing you right now isn't the final product. Soon you will see it when I place it for sale within this week!
