Doing voluntary actions in the church is our show of love to our Father. A loving child won't wait until the father makes juicy promise to him before he render his help in setting the father's house in order. A good will willing and lovingly serve his father, not as a labourer working for wages, or a slave at his master's command, but a an heir taking care of what is rightfully his.
Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
We should serve the Lord our God with a willing and loving heart. We should not only expect the love of God upon our lives, we should equally express our sincere love to Him. God has been good to us. Nothing is worth measuring with His work of redemption for us. Let us arise and shine in our Father's house with the true spirit of real sons.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV) Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
We are grateful to God for using our father in faith, Bro Eli Soriano, to awaken us to the dutiful reality that we have a responsibility in our Father's house which is more than just obeying His commandments.
We have been told that we have voluntary actions to carry out in the church as well as the doctrines we are taught to obey.
The doctrines that we are listening to are commandments that God gives us as a guide to our conducts in His house which is the.
Galatians 6:10 (KJV) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Those things we are good which are not commanded upon us are our free will services and offerings. There are the voluntary actions. We should do such actions out of love. We should willingly present ourselves to perform such responsibilities.
The voluntary actions that Bro Eli told us of includes vows, giving contributions, giving thanks to God and also doing good to our fellow men.
