Well I did my 3000 daily steps for Orna : the FREE mobile GPS RPG. Still grinding to get back onto Top 100 world players... Best before I retired was #13 in regional play about 3 years ago.
So I decide it's snack time! 😋
Hummus, the healthy and flavourful delight. A Middle East dish mentioned back to Egypt 13th century. Everybody has their own recipe, it's just mainly chick peas (garbanzo beans), Tahiti, lemon juice, and flavors.. so olive oil, cumin, roasted bell pepper and usually other fantastic options.
First separate the peas from the liquid and save it.
Put everything ut the peas together, mix for a minute, and then let it sit 10 minutes to allow the flavors get to know each other. Today I did :
2/3 cup of the lemon basil salad dressing
1 Teaspoon of all the spices except the garlic and red pepper flakes
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
Pinch of the red flakes
(Vary amounts to personal choice)
3 Tblespoons of Sesame oil ( I didn't have Tahini sadly )
Then slowly add, mix, and repeat.
Now during the blend, if it seems Abita dry, you can add the liquid back from the cans. It's alled Aquafina, cooked legume water. People have used it to substitute it for egg whites.
After it's processed, let it marinat chilled for a bit.. 2 hours is good 👍.
After thT enjoy! Some use it as a spread in sandwiches/wraps, salads, or as a dip for chips, bread and veggies ( baby carrots are my favorite <3).
