My entry to Qurator Photo Quest: SandCastle
Hi,
Today has been a nice day at the beginning of autumn with temperatures more typical of summer that have encouraged me to give a weight around the town of Castro Urdiales. Location where I am at the moment for a few days for work.
I have taken a stroll through this beautiful seaside town visiting its main attractions such as its gothic church and its lighthouse castle.
The walk was very pleasant, during my walk I was looking for photographs to fatten my photo library for the various photographic competitions in which I participate every week, such as the shadow hunting contest organised by @melinda010100 and also the reflex hunting contest organised by @olgavita.
But in my head, since Friday I was wondering how I could participate in the Qurator Photo Quest: SandCastles when in my photo library the closest thing I had was some sand mounds to form the word HIVE that I made on a beach a couple of years ago.
But when I was on my way back to the promenade, after taking some pictures on Brazomar beach, I found what I really needed for the Qurator Photo Quest.
An impressive work of art by some street artists who make a living doing some sculptures in the sand.
Without thinking, I took some pictures of the castle they had built, with a striking red roof and a Spanish flag.
Right next to it, alluding to the famous castle moats, they had built a spectacular crocodile.
And as I don't want to take photos of other people's work without rewarding the artists, I went back down to the beach to give them some coins and took the opportunity to take some additional photos of the back of the castle.
Happy and content I continued my walk through Castro Urdiales and as it was getting dark I continued today.
Soon, I will tell you all about my experience these afternoons visiting different places of this seaside town.
Best regards.
