It's a great gift to see new year friends and also a great opportunity to achieve greater heights in life. It's often said that “the greatest gift one can have is life, because a dead man has no hope but the living does”. Only the living have visions and no great impact on the world has ever been done by the dead, one only has the chance to break records while alive.
Today before I go on to talk about my cleaning activity, I would love to discuss something special I mentioned in my cleaning post yesterday.
“**How to Maintain Personal Hygiene even While doing Your Cleaning Activity”.
In putting one's effort into making sure our planet receives some fair treatment of regular cleanliness, I would encourage everyone participating in the cleaning activity to try as much as possible to maintain their personal hygiene.
Just like I said earlier, only the living can have visions, plan and work towards it. A sick or dead man can't carry out cleaning activities.
I can remember what my Dad often tells me, “If you teach something you'd love people to practice, be a living example for them to follow”. I would encourage everyone to maintain a keen sense of personal hygiene to avoid contracting infections by the process of gathering trash in the surroundings. For me, I have cleaning activity instruments that I often use to guard myself.
My Gloves:
I put on my gloves before embarking on any cleaning activity and I keep making sure I wash it after use. I'm happy it's harmattan season over here, meaning that anything one washes and sprays outside dries very fast. My gloves assures me that my hands are protected from contamination
Stick:
I often make use of this stick in cases where the trash gets stuck in intricate crevices or grasses, as well cases where I feel irritated to put my hands in. This also protects my hands from getting infected and mechanical accidents.
Trash bag:
Obviously during every cleaning activity, not just one or two trash is picked but many and they all have to be gathered together. I often use the trash bag to gather the trash and dispose of it at the end. I don't reuse it to avoid contamination.
The Trash Can
The trash can is often used to properly dispose of the trash bag containing the gathered trash. Improper disposal of trash is more like not doing anything and can lead to spread of infectious vectors and substances.
So these are the apparatus I often use to carry out my cleaning activity each day as well to make sure that I'm protected from any mishaps that might occur.
I hope that's enough to encourage everyone in the #cleanplanet community to look forward to engaging in healthier cleaning activities.
That's all I would have to say about that but now let's get to the business of the day, My Cleaning Activity for Today.
Here are the photos of my cleaning activity. I took them while carrying out the cleaning exercise:
Just like I said earlier, proper cleaning activity is often concluded with a proper disposal of the gathered trash. So I did that as well.
After disposing of the trash bag, I went in to wash my gloves and my hands before calling it a day.
I also have an interesting topic I had wanted to talk about but I think I'm going to be doing justice to the current prompt for cleanplanet biweekly contest round 11.
Thanks friends for stopping by and for your encouragement which serves as a boost to me to press on everyday.
Enjoy your new day and new year!!!
