Watching Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom is very interesting but also complicated at the same time. While everyone else thinks Ainz Ooal Gown is a god who does not make mistakes, he’s actually panicking inside, wishing he made the right choices. Ainz is always pretending to have a master plan, but deep down, he’s just trying to look cool, hoping nobody notices—and weirdly, no one ever does.

Movie Plot Brilliance
Ainz lets his buddy Demiurge run wild as Jaldabaoth, terrorizing the human kingdom. Meanwhile, Ainz gives out casual orders while looking like a divine god. The Roble Holy Kingdom comes crying for help and even goes to Ainz’s kingdom, thinking he’s their savior. What they don’t know is that Ainz is the one actually destroying their kingdom.
Character Spotlight: Demiurge
- Demiurge Demon Form
Out of all the characters, Demiurge is the most brilliant one. Even though he’s just a soldier who follows orders, his overthinking makes him a genius. His role as the ultimate demon overlord Jaldabaoth was done so well that the humans couldn’t even touch him. It shows just how strong he is. And yet, Ainz is far stronger than anyone in the Overlord universe. The humans, with all their magic powers, can’t even make a dent in him.
What Is Good? What Is Evil?

It really doesn’t matter if you’re overpowered. If you’re too strong and no one can touch you, your rules or words are the law, and no one can do anything about it. In other words, morality is optional when you have the power of a god. Think about it: if you had that power, what would you do? Of course, you’d change everything to match your sense of justice or your view of what’s right and wrong.
Visually? Not Bad

I watched the first season of Overlord, and both that and this movie have good visuals, especially in the fight scenes. But to be honest, this movie feels rushed, and the fight scenes are short. I can’t complain too much since it’s two stories combined into one, but I wish there was more to it. Still, it’s good. The first scene where the humans lost badly was brutal—you should watch it. Definitely recommended.
In Conclusion: Bone Daddy Wins Again
This chaotic, dark, and hilariously brutal movie is great for anyone who enjoys dark humor. If you’re just a casual moviegoer, you might not understand the full story because you need to watch the series first. But even then, I still recommend it. It’s a cool anime story you’ll enjoy if you like dark humor. That’s all I’ve got—enjoy the movie.

9/10 – For Ainz’s accidental genius.
8/10 – For visuals.
