RE: (Eng / Esp) #BeerSaturday Challenge: Budweiser Lager

in BEER10 months ago

According to the initials "AB" on the can, I think it is a beer licensed by the American company Anheuser Bush.
The "Budweiser" brand has been the subject of legal disputes for many years. This brand belongs to the Czech brewery Budvar, based in České Budějovice.
Czech Budvar exports beer all over the world. It is possible that you can also purchase the original. So if you see a red Budweiser Budvar sign somewhere, it is a Czech original.

Cheers!!

Hi @bucipuci

One of the things I like most about this community is that users like you are people with extensive knowledge about beers. I am a neophyte in that area, that's why I love these types of comments, because that's how I learn. I was absolutely unaware of all this information, I had the wrong idea that Budweiser was a German beer, which is why I found it curious when my husband brought me that can (and another one, which I will publish later), which had been manufactured in Colombia.

Thank you for your valuable comment, have a great week.

I'm not a super expert, but I live in the city where the original Budvar is produced :-)
