When my friend's aunt returned from London for studies, unknown to us, she was pregnant and tried to conceal it because the man who impregnated her claimed he could only marry her if she settled with him in London. However, my friend's aunt returned based on the agreement she had with her parents to come home after her studies. As she came back, she developed a fondness for spoiled food, especially seaweed soup, which worried her family without them realizing that pregnancy was the cause. She also had a penchant for eating bread and cheese.
Two weeks after her arrival, she stumbled upon a forgotten cellar filled with mysterious, aged cheeses. Intrigued by the foul smell, my friend's aunt couldn't resist tasting a particularly exotic-looking cheese.
Little did she know that the cheese she was attracted to was kept by the gods for reasons best known to them and had long surpassed its prime, harboring dangerous bacteria. Despite warnings from those around her to stay away from the cheese, she refused, leading some to believe she was either mad or being manipulated, as she was the first in the entire community to go abroad for studies.
As Rose, my friend's aunt, indulged in the spoiled delight, an ominous transformation began. Unbeknownst to her, the cheese's toxins triggered a peculiar reaction, turning her into a creature with an insatiable appetite for mischief and less affected by eating spoiled food. Her mother exclaimed, "How can somebody who went all the way to London come back and start eating mad people's food?" She ran home to fetch her husband to come and see their precious daughter, but he replied, "Women, get away from here, for my eyes cannot behold evil. Our enemies are after us; let us stay here and call on our God."
As villagers started noticing strange occurrences, they soon connected the dots to Rose's insidious cheese adventure. The once-friendly lady became a menace, devouring everything in her path and spreading chaos throughout the village.
The town's residents, now in peril, united to find a solution. Seeking the wisdom of an ancient cheese artisan, they learned of an antidote hidden within a rare, freshly crafted cheese. Racing against time, they embarked on a perilous journey to obtain the cure.
As everyone ran for their life, Rose's family got the solution and presented the curative cheese. As Rose hesitated, the villagers pleaded with her to consume the antidote and break free from the clutches of the spoiled cheese's curse.
Upon hearing her mother's voice, Rose reluctantly took a bite of the curative cheese. The village held its breath, hoping for a miraculous reversal. Slowly, the ominous aura surrounding Rose began to fade, and she returned to her normal self.
The danger of Rose eating spoiled cheese taught her a valuable lesson about the consequences of indulging in the unknown, and the trauma gave her self-control over eating spoiled food. In the midst of her parents' happiness, she reluctantly said, "Dad, forgive me, for I am three months pregnant." Immediately, everyone's mood changed, with most people thinking she said so out of frustration.
WHAT I SAW AND THINK
I saw a piece of cheese with some parts cut off and red spots on it. I believe this cheese was purchased during the exam season, partially consumed, and the remainder stored in the fridge. When there was a power outage (NEPA took light), the cheese spoiled because the owner couldn't afford to buy petrol for the generator.
