Welcome in this post I share some collector blasphemy silver, if you are not into stacking precious metals or are new you may not know this but artificially manipulating your precious metals is shunned up on by many and will ruin any grading prospects, this is very important for very rare collector metals cleaning it or manipulating it in any manner can detract from that value and like I hinted on above grading is going to be out of the question as the grading services will reject the coin.
This was not of my doing but I did support it buy purchasing this and 2 other coins that have been altered, I think it looks pretty cool and it has no effect on the underlying silver value, some people will not want it while others will want it because they like it like me, and most bullion dealers will buy it for the silver content without issue.
How do you feel about this sort of manipulation, do you have any in your stack/collection ? Have you ever experimented with it yourself ? I have but I would never do it to a truly valuable or rare piece.
