Praise Jesus Christ for his sacrifice and the fact that I can wake up in the morning and turn to God in prayer!
Yesterday I had many different ideas about today's fast but God has His own plans for this and most of my ideas were either thrown out or put aside for an indefinite period of time for me.
In all likelihood, the proverb that says that a spoon is good for dinner has more in common with God's principles than any of my ideas.
Therefore, the part of the title of my post that talks about personal choice is relevant today.
You know, many years ago I decided for myself that I made a choice for myself of who will lead me, and this choice is God.
But, periodically on the eve of the presidential election thoughts about which of the candidates is better and which of them is worse, which of them will turn the world into chaos and which of them will bring order, appear in my brain like a worm.
You need to drive this worm out of your head and this is the only right decision and focus your attention only on God.
Apostle Paul in the 13th chapter of the Epistle to the Romans said that every established authority is from God, but it does not say that Christians should choose this authority for themselves.
To humble yourself before the authorities and to choose a shepherd for yourself are different things different categories, and this contradicts the fact that Christians have already chosen a shepherd for themselves and this shepherd is the Almighty Lord!
How can God bring order to our lives no matter how much garbage we have accumulated in our minds, hearts and souls?
Today, all eyes are on the US presidential election, and the choice between very strange personalities about whom some proverbs say that it is a choice between radish and horseradish.
But they have not yet become president, and everyone has already bowed to him, as to the power from God yes it is enough to look at how the crypto market reacted to this it made a curtsey with a very low bow.
Hope, fear, what else?
You know the right choice is similar to how I choose a place to stop on the way when I travel with my family by car.
I look around me for beautiful landscapes, picturesque meadows, where you can spread a blanket and set a table with sandwiches and enjoy the delicacies prepared by my wife and enjoy the contemplation of nature.
As such there will be no comfort in the form of tables and chairs but it will be good there as under the wing of God!
And the correctness of the choice of the president is comparable to predicting in advance five minutes before a heart attack calling an ambulance which most likely, will arrive late anyway lol.
Everyone decides for himself whether to participate in any elections or not but for me any elections are no more interesting than the election of the leader of the rook flock by a flock of rooks.
My choice is unchanged - God!
