I just can't think or feel anything just because of what's happening outside but I can't do anything about it.
There's currently a typhoon in my country and I am just thankful that we are safe at my place. We're not that affected and feel safe, but there are things that's causing me to be stressed.
I recently downloaded Facebook again and I don't like what's on my feed after seeing a lot of people affected by the typhoon and struggling out there.
I just realized how difficult life is and there are people who are really unfortunate when it comes to these things. It is not their choice, but it feels that it is their fate to experience it because of their life status.
We just had some fun earlier with my friends inside the apartment and then saw the status of people outside. The overhead flood, evacuating people, and people who are struggling and overthinking about what will happen next.
It seems that there are more people affected in the Bicol region. Seeing the news breaks my heart. And the bad thing is, I am aware of what is happening but I can't do anything because I don't have the resources nor power to do something.
The only thing that we can do for them is to sympathize and help sharing their status to help them in case of emergency. Does it really help? We're not sure.
At this point, I was thinking, is it okay to laugh and have fun while you are aware that there are people suffering?
I know that we have different timeline and events in life, but sometimes, you will just feel your conscience winning over you. I know that you are not carrying the world, you should stop caring a lot, but there are times that you will realize that it is a bit unfair.
If I just have enough resources, I'll do my best to help.
Anyway, this blog is just a short update and just wandering words while lying down in my bed. I feel that we can do better than this. I just want to take some thoughts out of my mind and share some of it.
