Engagement W #234 Luck or hardwork

in Weekend Experiences10 days ago

Hello everyone . I am analee09. I am new here, and I must say that this community is one of the interesting communities i joined.

Do you believe in luck, or do you believe hard work and preparation creates "luck"?

I would begin first to define luck as a chance or opportunity that comes once in a while. Luck is not a constant daily experience. It is indeed detrimental to the life of someone who wants to be successful to bank his life on luck.

I am of the believe that hard work and preparation can create "luck." Aside from being lucky, you will definitely enjoy the benefits of working hard and being prepared in whatever endeavour you are in.

My friend will always tell me " Analee you are the creator of your reality" so even if i dont get to experience the opportunity of luck , i will still create my reality by been hardworking and investing in adequeate preparation for the life that i desire.

Hardwork and preparation are very pivotal to one living a successful, fulfilled life. If you are not adequately prepared for the life you want to live , even if luck shows up, you won't be able to utilize it, thereby missing that opportunity.

You can never regret working hard or being prepared. Instead, it positions you for more opportunities, which can be luck.

I once had an informal experience in administration during my days in the university. I belong to a christian fellowship where i was handling the administrative, finance, and members welfare. I was so deligent in all i do that i paid attention to details, i could engage people in conversation, and i could follow up with people. I could keep records and give account of all expenses made and the revenue left. I didn't know i was preparing myself.
When i was done with school, a senior colleague backe then in school , who now started his own IT company that works remotely reached out to me that he wanted me to handle the administration of his company. Even though i had no formal experience working in the office, the informal experiences I've had, which had been noticed by people, created an opportunity for me to now work in a corporate organisation.

This i will say was my lucky day. So i imagine if i wasn't preparing myself by being hardworking and deligent while carrying out responsibilities, those responsibilities in school that I wasn't paid for.

So the more you are hardworking and prepared, the more you can meet luck or you put yourself out there for luck to meet you. You can also position yourself by letting people know who you are and what you do, thereby creating atmospheres of possibilities and luck around you.

Thank you.

Wow
This is a beautiful article.
Yes I believe also that hardwork and preparation creates luck.
When opportunity meets preparation, it's equal to success.
