I was feeling tired again this morning, probably from my slightly longer run yesterday, so after my first shift at work today, I only went for a short walk.
I took a different route to normal, which took me down Engine House Lane, along which all of todays pictures were taken. This way is a very old lane, and there is no sign of where the old engine house used to be.
I'm continuing to practice my macro photography on the wild flowers that I come across on my walks. Hopefully, I'm getting better.
I was going to table each of these species, but I'm struggling to be sure of what this is beyond a type of buttercup.
These are hawkweed oxtongue (Picris hieracioides).
And these I believe are germander speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys).
Thank you for reading, and I'll be back tomorrow.
