X Blue Metrics Report for September 9 2024

in LeoFinance10 days ago

Sometimes it's hard to tell just what happened. Following two solid weeks of attracting record new followers and a week of increasing impressions, my X Blue stats are down again. You'd think impressions would be up, but naaah! But I have an idea why they fell so precipitously. You'll see why in just a minute.

63 percent!

That means impressions for the past week were 505 instead of approaching or jumping over 2,000 as I would expect. On the other hand, engagement was high. The Engagement Rate over the past seven days was 12.7 percent, a new high, increasing 58 percent over the previous week.

All other stats are down:

  • Profile visits down 20 percent
  • Replies down 47 percent
  • Likes down 51 percent
  • Reposts down 42 percent
  • Video views down 67 percent
  • Media views 37 percent

How is it possible that Engagement Rate went through the roof while individual engagement stats went the opposite direction?

On the bright side, new followers remained static as I picked up 17 putting me at 494 followers. If that metric increases again this week, I'll likely bounce over 500 followers. That's nothing to complain about.

Impressions and Engagements

Looking at individual stats, impressions had some ups and downs over the past week. The high was Friday, September 6 when impressions reached 102. Today is the low with 35 impressions, but it's still morning. Take out today and the low was Saturday, September 7 with 46 impressions.

That's a pretty little mountain range, though. Isn't it?

Engagements peaked on September 6 and fell sharply the next day. I guess fewer people were online Saturday. Oh, but look at that summit!

Likes look like rolling hills.

New follows resemble some foothills I know. Again, the peak occurred on September 6 and the low was on September 7.

Replies are looking up this morning.

If there's a silver lining in all of this, and there's always a silver lining, it's that my follower count continues to grow. The 28-day picture doesn't look too bad with more than 4,000 impressions and engagement rate of 7.8 percent. The graph is my impression graph with a peak on August 27, 2024 of 462 impressions and another big rise on August 18.

See you next time!
