I woke up this morning in a Walmart parking lot in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Hawthorne woke me up at 4:30 to take him out to the potty. I did, then I walked a block to 7-11 so I could use the restroom. I went back to bed and got up at 6 a.m. to take Hawthorne out again, and we went for a walk.
When Theresa woke up, around 7 a.m., we drove to Harris Teeter. I took Hawthorne for another walk then I ate breakfast and did some work.
At 10 a.m., I went inside and set up my book table. I sold books for 7 hours.
After selling books, we drove to a park and walked Hawthorne some more.
We went back to Walmart and saw a security vehicle in the parking lot. So we went inside to buy salads for dinner. I asked if we could stay the night in the parking lot and they said, "No way."
That sucked because I was planning to sell books at Harris Teeter again on Saturday. We had stayed at Walmart all week with no issues, but unable to stay tonight, we would have had to find an alternative site to camp. At 8 p.m, that would be a challenge. We decided to head back to Texas.
We headed west and stopped at a rest stop for an overnight sleepover. Tomorrow will be a long day of driving. Good night
