Friends, I hope you all are happy and healthy. Friends, whenever it comes to shopping, the first name that comes to our mind is Vadodara city. Friends, the history of Vadodara is very big. Vadodara has been a leader in business for centuries but it has a distinct historical identity. This metropolis, which has many big villages within itself, has a huge royal history. Great kings and emperors have established sultanates here and even today it stands encompassing the sultanates of that time and that too in its original condition.
There are many different markets in Vadodara where all the household items are available. For small people, for rich people and for middle class people, there are markets in Vadodara for all classes of people, but I find the best market for middle class people, whose name is Mangal Bazaar. People from all walks of life come here because all the items of good variety are available here. The special thing about this market is that all the things are available here at the lowest price.
People of every class are seen here. Every item does good business. Any business runs well. If even a poor person runs a small shop in the evening, he can easily earn $15 and take it home and feed his children to their heart's content. The aunty I see in front of me does business with a fruit lorry and she also earns $17 a day.
Kachori under the name Pyarelal is available in Mangal Bazaar. Kachori is a famous food of Ratlam city of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It takes a lot of effort to make Kachori. It is made by first adding spicy, sour and sweet sauces, onion, sev, coriander, other ingredients and salt as per taste to the puri prepared in oil. This is one of the famous eating places of Vadodara, but to have it, one has to wait for about 25 minutes and stand in the queue for a long distance. I bought Kachori for $1 and ate it standing there because there was no place to sit there.
I had to buy clothes for my brother, so I went to the market for shopping. I bought about $60 today. If I had gone to any other market in Vadodara to buy the same, I probably would have had to pay $100 for it and the item would not have been of good quality. But I really got profit in Mangal Bazar. Mangal Bazaar is famous in India and abroad also. People from Italy, England, Indonesia and China also come here and shop here.
The spicy and spicy food that is eaten in Gujarat state of India is not eaten anywhere else in the world. Pyare Lal's Kachori here is similarly spicy and full of spices and that is why people from all over the country and abroad like the Kachori here very much. When I was coming out of the market, I had to face a huge crowd here. There was so much crowd here that it was not possible to even move a loaf from one place to another in the market.
But I felt good coming here because I could get shopping worth $100 for only $60. At the same time, I enjoyed it a lot here and my Sunday was a success. Friends, I invite you also to visit this market in India. Whenever you come to India, you can meet me and I will take you around the entire state.
