Hello guys. This is another special Thursday and I believe that we are ready for our throw backs. I'm going to be sharing with the house a very special event that took place last Sunday which was the 14th of April, 2024.
We heard a mothering week which lead us to the mothers Sunday that we have lots of activities for mothers. We started with a church service that lasted for two hours. Then we moved out to the field for our match pass and football match. The most interesting part of the whole program for is was the football match. Hahahaha 🤣. Is very funny for me because most of the women that were selected to play the match no nothing about rules of football match, what to do and what not to do.
When they started at first women were just holding the ball with their hands and running to score. The coach who was also a woman condemned it and asked them to just play and not be too mindful of scoring a goal because there will be no winners or losers. That calm the women down and the football game started with all joy knowing that you will neither win nor lose. After playing for an hour and there was no winner, the issue of penalty came up and that was when one group won. It didn't stop every woman celebrating because there was no winner. All thanks to the Catholic women organization of Nigeria for such great program that brought the women together.

Hola, chicos. Este es otro jueves especial y creo que estamos listos para nuestro regreso. Voy a compartir con la casa un evento muy especial que tuvo lugar el pasado domingo que fue el 14 de abril de 2024.
Escuchamos una semana de las madres, lo que nos llevó al domingo de las madres en el que tenemos muchas actividades para las madres. Comenzamos con un servicio religioso que duró dos horas. Luego salimos al campo para nuestro pase de partido y partido de fútbol. La parte más interesante de todo el programa fue el partido de fútbol. Jajajaja 🤣. Es muy divertido para mí porque la mayoría de las mujeres que fueron seleccionadas para jugar el partido no saben nada sobre las reglas del partido de fútbol, qué hacer y qué no hacer. Al principio, cuando empezaron, las mujeres simplemente sostenían el balón con las manos y corrían para anotar. La entrenadora, que también era mujer, lo condenó y les pidió que se limitaran a jugar y que no estuvieran muy pendientes de marcar un gol porque no habrá ganadores ni perdedores. Eso tranquilizó a las mujeres y el partido de fútbol comenzó con toda alegría sabiendo que ni se ganará ni se perderá. Después de jugar una hora y no había ganador, surgió el tema del penalti y fue cuando ganó un grupo. El hecho de que no hubiera ningún ganador impidió que todas las mujeres celebraran. Todo gracias a la organización de mujeres católicas de Nigeria por tan fantástico programa que unió a las mujeres. Gracias también por venir. Que tengas un gran fin de semana por delante.
