I have accomplished my humanitarian service this season.

Christmas for me is a period of sharing gift to different people. One must not have enough before he can want to help the less privileged. I believe that it isA something that is in a man even if it means he gives out everything he have to the needy.

If we are all waiting to have more than enough to share with others then it will be just a dream and never accomplished.

Just One Thing

*Tell us about one thing you've done already this holiday so far.

I HAVE ACHIEVED PUTTING SMILES ON PEOPLE FACES THIS SEASON.

I have actually done some special things this festive season but I have one that I did two day ago that makes me very happy and that is what stood out for me in all my celebration this year.

I have been nursing the idea of helping some widows with some food stuff and also gifts of clothing since early this year. But I never met my demands because of the high cost of things in the market. I said to myself that this year is not permitted to pass without that dream coming to pass. I finally did it and a very big kudos to myself because it was like it will never happen but all glory to God for making that a reality.

Have you traveled to your family?
It not actually traveling for me this season. Even though is a very good thing for me to travel because I really need to see my old sick mother in-law but I had to put that aside just to fulfill this my dream. If I had wanted to travel to the village I would have simply used the money for this widows program to go visit them in the village. But I made it as a sacrifice. I decided to do the needful. Though it may not be the needful for another person but it is for me and I feel happy doing it.

On the 22 and 23 of December 2023 I called either widows to my house. And you know one thing with the widows once they hear that you want to see them they come with the expectations of going home with something. So when they were coming you can imagine that they brought bags and leather bag Incase of anything. Hahaha 😂. It sounds funny right? But that is it. That is how we roll it here. I shared some very useful things to them though it is not much but I believe that it will go along way for them. Two of the widows that came to my house early this morning cried and refused to stop. They were so shocked at how I even think of helping them. I had to take some minutes to calm them down before they stopped.

and what it means for you for the rest of the holiday?
It means the world to me. This is one thing I love doing. If I haven't done it this season I don't think if I would be happy. It has also kept me moving. Having to wake up every day to remember that I have put smiles on people's faces keep me happy.

This is the link to the post that I made yesterday where I gave details of how the get together went Incase you want to go through it.

It's the Christmas season: give your friends a gift

Putting smiles on people's faces is very necessary, it is a reward from God, not man, I love to help others and that is when I am always fulfilled and excited without expecting anything from them.

You're an amazing person ma'am
Giving to those who need the assistance and in this way is simply beautiful.

Even though good deeds are paid, it may not come in the way you expect it, I only pray it multiplies for you.

Keep up the good work ma'am.

One is always fulfilled making others smile. It means with everything happening, there is still someone who cares and remembers them. That was so thoughtful of you to have sacrificed your travelling to meet the widows' needs. The Bible says the one who helps the needy or poor lends to God and He will repay them back. God will multiply your good deeds for you by His grace 🙏
