oh wow... Anja looks amazing... a chrome heron!?! It looks huge!

Funnily, my actifriend @danmaruschak, he goes walking through his local park in the US... I think in Eugene Oregon if my memory serves me right, they have a kind of similar looking chrome heron sculpture... I wonder if there's a relation or if that's just a coincidence... 🤔

P.S.: after a little googly googling, my memory did serve me right. here's their heron: https://eu.registerguard.com/story/entertainment/arts/2022/08/05/eugene-kicks-off-visual-arts-week-mayors-show-at-first-friday-artwalk-exhibits-meet-artists/65392212007/
according to this arcticle it's by a local artist... so the danube heron and it's likeness are probably just a coincidence.
and for the sake of completeness, here's one of dan's actifitivity posts with the eugene heron: https://hive.blog/hive-193552/@danmaruschak/actifit-danmaruschak-20240704t041420156z

Hey Fraenk,

it seems that it is just a coincidence, but how cool you spotted Anja and connected with the other Hiver's post and place. Thank you, I checked the link to the post you left, that one is a pretty heron.

In case you want to see a bit more about this bird you see in my posts, click here and see the beginning of the post ;)

Anja is indeed a grey heron, made of chrome ;)

ah, interesting! Nov 23... explains why i didn't see that post.

8 meters... wow!

herons are such majestical birds... especially all blinged out in chrome... hehe

Yeah, posted in November, visited last summer - the photo in that post, and seen by you today. Anja is timeless 😁
