When I felt the pleasure of going out to photograph all my surroundings, considering that this activity turned out to be one of the most relaxing for my anxiety, I did not imagine how much creativity can be provided by going out to hunt for a good photo. And maybe it's not the best photo in the world, but the most meaningful one because of the way we describe the context or the story behind that photo.
Cuando sentí el placer de salir a fotografiar todo mi entorno, considerando que esta actividad resultó ser una de las más relajantes para mi ansiedad, no imaginé cuánta creatividad nos puede proporcionar salir a la cacería de una buena foto. Y quizás no se trate de la mejor foto del mundo, pero sí de la más significativa por la manera cómo describimos el contexto o la historia detrás de esa foto.

That's where I was wrong, sometimes what looks so simple, really isn't when we start mentioning characteristics of their nature.
The following photos were captured without any planning, each image presented itself in front of me, and I hunted for it.
This one, for example, came across my morning walk on my way to the pharmacy, and I didn't get any closer because what I wanted to capture was the moment when the butterfly landed on the flower. But let's talk about the context of the flower. This abandoned area was totally dry weeks ago, and thanks to the rain the bush grew again.
Días atrás, aprovechando que la temporada de lluvia nos ha regalado días muy frescos, y a veces hasta muy fríos, salí persiguiendo alguna foto especial, pero los días transcurrieron en medio de fotos que consideré muy comunes, hasta que las observé detalladamente y me di cuenta que algunas resultaban un tanto curiosas, precisamente, por no ser tan comunes al describirlas. He ahí mi equivocación, a veces lo que se ve tan simple, realmente no lo es cuando comenzamos a mencionar características de su naturaleza.
Las siguientes fotos fueron capturadas sin ninguna planificación, cada imagen se presentaba frente a mí, y yo la cazaba.
Ésta por ejemplo, se cruzó en mi caminata mañanera cuando iba a la farmacia, y no me acerqué más porque lo que deseaba captar era el momento en el que la mariposa se posaba en la flor. Pero hablemos del contexto de la flor. Esta zona abandonada estaba totalmente seca semanas atrás, y gracias a la lluvia el monte creció nuevamente.

Unlike the species that are born or reborn, there are those that are already closing their life cycle in nature, but are still standing, perhaps to support those who come tired from a long journey.
Y allí, en medio de él, nace esta linda especie de Rosa Mística o Zinnia, un tipo de flor silvestre, que nunca había estado allí, pero quizás esperaba el momento de renacer, o simplemente un pajarito dejó caer una semilla y ella se mostró con su hermoso color para atraer a esa linda mariposa color naranja, y a mí.
A diferencia de las especies que nacen o renacen, están las que ya van cerrando su ciclo de vida en la naturaleza, pero aún siguen de pie, quizás para dar soporte a los que vienen cansados de un largo viaje.

This third photo caught my attention one rainy afternoon when I went to the bakery. The sweet bread display case was full of bees attracted, of course, by the smell of sugar, honey, and other sweet ingredients in these delicacies.
Es el caso de este árbol que desde hace más de dos años veo a través del balcón, y cada día pierde más ramas, pero ni las fuertes lluvias ni las ventoleras de estos últimas días, incluyendo el coletazo de un huracán que nos tocó un poco, han podido desprender sus raíces y sigue de pie, demostrando que el pasar de los años envejece pero a veces con altivez.
Esta tercera foto me llamó la atención en una tarde lluviosa que fui a la panadería. La vitrina del pan dulce estaba llena de abejas atraídas, por supuesto, por el olor del azúcar, la miel, y otros ingredientes dulces que llevan estas exquisiteces.

Could it be a matter of empathy?
The last photo is perhaps the most curious to me but many will wonder why, and is that this small figure represents a statue that illustrated the streets of my hometown, El Tigre, but between one controversy and another, was removed and recently, returned.
Lo más curioso era que se encontraban adentro, o sea, debo suponer que cada vez que abrían para sacar un producto, algunas ágilmente se colaban, pero parece ser que esto ya es costumbre, ya que los chicos que atienden, sacan los panes sin temor de ser picados, ni tampoco las espantan. ¿Será cuestión de empatía?
La última foto es quizás la más curiosa para mí pero muchos se preguntarán el porqué, y es que esta pequeña figura representa una estatua que ilustraba las calles de mi ciudad natal, El Tigre, pero entre una polémica y otra, fue retirada y recientemente, regresada.

Un artista local creó estas estatuillas de lo que sería la imagen de un tigre construido por un artista del país, cuyo nombre no recuerdo, pero lo hizo para que quedara ese recuerdo al ser removida de su lugar. El monumento no es famoso por su belleza, sino por su contexto, y quedó bautizado como “el ñigre”, para acumular más registros en nuestra historia cultural.
De esta manera entre fotos curiosas, finalizó mi ejercicio # 6.
