I definitely relate to outside being expensive, though not sure if we have such a saying in my country. Especially now, everything seems to cost twice more than it did when I was small and just getting used to "the cost of living". I thought it was expensive then, let alone now! xD

Your beach looks lovely, and the water looks delightful to swim in. I totally get you on liking to swim naked, though! Maybe you could go on your own sometimes, if you feel uncomfortable with your family seeing you swim naked? Or is that not allowed at this place, at all ?

As funny as it sounds, that's what we believe because we are majorly blacks and movies always portray mermaids to be light skinned. Maybe that's where our parents deduced that and pushed it to us😂

Things are very expensive here. Going out to have fun means one must have a good sum of money, I mean, I big sum.

For the river;
That beach is a general one and nakedness is now allowed. Come on, I can't even think of it.
We used to have rivers designed for male and female, differently. There, we enjoy it to the fullest.
