So... any idea of how you want to paint the Space Marines?
They are blue on the box because those are the Ultramarines. But there are many First Founding and Second Founding Chapters, each with their own culture and heraldry.
There are meant to be over 1000 Chapters of Space Marines in the lore. But you will find around 80 different color-schemes with names and lore.
Interesting, I was thinking blue, so I can just copy of the book that came with kit but I will do a bit of googling

I had a look, too many choices, I might just paint them Hive colors, a new chapter !LOL
But seriously I only have the Elite starter set, a rhino, and small set of Runtherd and gretchen Orks. Looks like my marine set came with transfers for Dark Angles, Ultra mariners, blood Angles or Space Wolves. What would you suggest? Which is the rarest, I like to be different. I have no plans to compete or game with them maybe I could do a couple of each chapter?
The best is to paint however you feel like.

Dark Angels are secretive Knights.
Blood Angels are beautiful engraged space vampires.
Space Wolves are space Vikings with some werewolves and wolf mounts.
Ultramarines are the Greko-Roman poster-boys.
Imperial Fists like to build fortified positions.
White Scars are Space Mongolians who ride bikes.
Iron Hands love machines and seek to become machines.
Black Templars are Crusaders.
Salamanders have coal black skin and red eyes and love fire and smithing.
Raven Guard like stealth and jump packs.
Those are some of the main Chapters.
The setting supports you making your own Chapters should you wish. Of course meme-Chapters only get you so far. Lol
