It was my first afternoon stroll in a while, probably the best part of 2 weeks. I must be getting old as it has taken that long for my ankle to feel good enough for some extra activity. There were quite a few rainbow lorikeet out, I just love the way they like to feed upside down.
A neighbours xanthorrhoea grass tree had a lot of new small white flowers on its spear like trunk, and the birds seem to love them.
The xanthorrhoea plant is probably my favourite Australian native plant, I just find it so unique and different, I don't think I have seem anything like it elsewhere.
The Kookaburras were out and about to, always on the lookout for a feed.
