I wish to be stressed free but it's reality seems unrealistic. Imagine me, for weeks now I haven't done anything in my blog. Mere looking at it, it's as if am relaxing not knowing that stress is killing me.
Anyway, am glad it's not the end of life rather it's another time and an opportunity to learn something new in my life.
Yesterday morning introduced another phase of stress in my life when my brother knocked at our gate in fulfillment of our agreement the day prior to that very day.
Which agreement is that?
We agreed to visit my farm in order to cut some cassava stems for him to plant with this farming season. So, that morning, my mentality upgraded because I decided to also harvest cassava same time.
So as soon as he knocked, I quickly arranged tools and we left to the farm. Reaching there, he started cutting down cassava stems while myself engaged with harvesting work. But at a point, he took over the harvesting work from me and ordered me to start cutting down cassava stems since the harvesting work is more stressful.
Take a look at my brother as he's doing the work. What a caring brother he is!
We spent hours in the farm because we left around 6:30 am without eating breakfast and came back around 2:00pm. Ahh, friends, I was more than stressed out. I wished I took a shot then to publicly display my mood and how stressed I was.
We harvested two and half (2½) bags of cassava. Honestly, my brother really helped me a lot because even after harvesting the cassava, he didn't allow me to gather it. Rather, he instructed me to fill up the bags and allow him to carry them. But, do you know that while filling up the bags, he will use that opportunity to keep on gathering the stems.
Sincerely speaking, he tried.
As we arrived back from farm, I was so stressed out that I couldn't even mold a morsel of garri to eat. Chai, stressful life!
Nevertheless, I managed myself and eat. After eating, I couldn't withstand the urge to have a nice sleep. The sleep lasted for hours because I came back from my sleeping journey around 7:30pm.
But the funniest part of the whole story is that I was unable to gather enough actifit count because the weather was sunny and if I should walk around with it, the battery will drain. Please bear with me.
My next blog will carry the next phase of the cassava.
STAY TUNED.
