Hey Actifitters,
Another routine work day yesterday but luckily wildlife was there to add some distractions. While I was watching a deer in the backyard, I was surprised by this curious raccoon coming up from under the deck.
It seemed a little out of it, moving slowly, and sometimes without obvious target. It stayed for a while on the deck, then moving into the lawn. At some point, I thought maybe it had been poisoned, but I guess not cause a couple hours later, it was still in our yard, this time on the garage roof. Earlier it completely ignored me, but this time, it clearly stared at me!
Of course I kept Kaia inside during all that time. As much as I don't want to see raccoons, marmots or other critters making a mess in the yard, I also don't want Kaia to catch them. But she could also see that raccoon through the windows, and she was begging me to let her out.
Le Chat on the other hand couldn't care less!
Much later in the afternoon, we finally went for our daily walk with Kaia. Our usual route, behind the front yard first, then the forest.
Still more mushrooms on that mulch.
After just a couple days, we can already see signs of decay on this big one. I guess all these leeches or maybe slugs are not helping.
I also found more ghost pipes, so many of them, it's very surprising.
Just as most days, a quick detour for a couple Cubiverse vaults, and another loop inside the forest to finish our walk.
And that was it for the day. Had trouble posting from Actifit app yesterday, so I have to post this one directly, not from the app. So the usual step count recap will not be below. But it was around 27k, which means the bar was cleared for #poprzeczka competition. I really hope I can stay in the competition until at least the end of the month.
