Hey Actifitters,
Like the title says, it is my 1500th Actifit report! Except for that milestone, it wasn't the most exciting day though. First, the summer heat is really back, with apparently no sign of stopping. Even Le Chat got thirsty!
Secondly, just like the day before, some badly timed meetings (that can happen often when many of your customers and coworkers are on the West Coast, 3 hours behind you) ruined my activities plan. So again, no run, and only time for a short walk before nightfall. We did take the time for a stop behind the front yard though.
It is so green right now! Hopefully, this will turn into very bright fall colors.
Kaia's excited too, but probably not for the fall colors.
We didn't even go all the way to the forest, just roamed around the neighborhood. The end of sunset sky was beautiful once again.
And so was the Moon!
After one last meeting, we ran around the yard for a few more steps, but that was definitely not enough. That's too many days without a proper run, I need to run again soon!
Oh, I almost forgot! We did get some excitement late at night: Kaia got skunked! She asked to go out, and a few minutes later, I heard her trying to open the door. She almost managed to do it too! Without opposable thumbs, this is quite impressive actually as this is a round door handle. Anyways, I already noticed the skunk stench. So of course, I didn't let her in. That already happened to her (and 4 or 5 times to Genepi too), so I have all I need to try and clean her up. But the last thing I wanted to do at 2am was to give her a bath in the dark yard! I did what I could, the smell is a little better, but she still stinks! Damit Kaia, she'll never learn!
Well, in spite of that misadventure closing a slower day, I'm glad I reached 1500 Actifit reports. To many more!
