Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday looked again similar. Now that Le Chat rediscovered her spot on the deck, she spends a lot of time there.
Of course, when we take breaks in the yard, she joins. Yes, she can move when she wants to!
And Kaia is always happy to see her tiny sister.
Later in the afternoon, I was surprised to see the temperature drop to much more reasonable level, in the low 70s. So we prepared for a walk. I was a bit distracted and I forgot to check the front yard before opening the gate for Kaia. A big buck with large antlers was right there, just a few meters in front of us. Kaia started chasing it, but as soon as I said 'No' (well, 'Non' to be exact, because she speaks better French), she stopped. As much as I'd like to think it's because she's very well trained, I think it's because she's still bothered by these infections. After that, the deer slowly moved to the front yard across the street.
Kaia was super focused on him, but didn't break the stay command.
Even though it must have been really tempting!
Next we made our usual stop behind the front yard.
Once again, Le Chat didn't waste any time and joined us 'in the wild'.
Like I mentioned, I didn't think Kaia was healed yet, but I wanted to try again going to the forest.
I was planning a very short walk in the forest but I guess Kaia caught some scents she liked and followed them.
In the end, it wasn't a super long walk, but clearly not as short as I had planned.
The Moon is getting fuller, it's about half way right now. With my phone, it makes it more challenging to get other objects in the same frame. After many tries, I think a few turned out okay.
And that was it for the day's activities. Like I said, Kaia is not out of the woods yet, but she seemed better. Let's see how it goes during the week end and next week when the heat wave hits us.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
