Hey Actifitters,
For our second ski day up North Michigan, we chose Boyne Mountain. It was easier and saved us about half an hour to start on the road back home in the evening. It was not as cold as the day before, but more wind, lots of wind actually. At least, at some point, we saw the sun and some blue sky. And this weird bridge they built a few years ago. That's probably cool to cross it, but very expensive. So we just checked it out from the distance.
No view on the lake here, but some very nice ones too.
We stopped for a quick bite in the afternoon. The place was filled with vintage ski stuff. I really like this kind of decorations.
We didn't want to drive back too late, so we didn't stay for night skiing. We already tried a few years ago anyways. It's not bad, but not that different.
The drive back home was uneventful luckily, and we were back before 10pm. One last dinner together to conclude a great week end. We got lucky with new fresh snow just before we got there, and it wasn't too crowded. I guess we can't ask for much more. Well, maybe longer and steeper slopes, but I already mentioned it was Michigan skiing...
At home, Le Chat greeted me with at least 15 minutes of continuous meowing, even after I added more food in her bowl. But she finally calmed down and went back to more pressing matter, sleep and rest!
The night was quite clear. Too bad Kaia wasn't back, because we would have gone for a night walk. We settled for a little Moon watching.
And that was it, onto the new week now!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
